Hired as a contract motion designer, I developed 2D and 3D animations for their app launch and digital campaigns—shaping a warm, approachable visual identity. From looping Instagram promos to animated UI elements, the work balanced expressive storytelling with brand clarity across social and web platforms.
Peas is a fintech startup helping couples manage money together in a more open, stress-free way. I was brought on as a contract motion designer to create animated content for their app launch and digital campaigns. My focus was to develop visually engaging 2D and 3D motion graphics that reflected their warm, approachable brand identity.
The Peas team wanted a distinct visual voice in the finance space—something expressive, friendly, and emotionally resonant. The goal was to promote the app on Instagram and the web, using animation to imply key features like shared goals and smart budgeting, without overwhelming users with technical details.
Working collaboratively with their internal team, I handled concept development, design, and animation for both looping promos and embedded website visuals. My process included:

These animations played a key role in Peas’ brand rollout, bringing warmth and clarity to their digital presence. The social loops helped generate engagement around their launch, while the website animations supported product understanding without needing extra copy.
This project was a great example of using motion as both a design tool and a storytelling medium. Balancing aesthetics with purpose, I had the freedom to experiment with both 2D and 3D workflows—giving the brand a fresh, layered visual language.
